About BotCookery
A free kitchen for people who build their own trading and prediction-market bots with AI coding tools. We publish recipes. You cook them, on your machine, on your account.
What we do
- Publish step-by-step Build Cards: a goal, a prompt for your AI coding tool, the steps, a paper-trading setup, a safety checklist and links to official docs.
- Check endpoints and rules against the official Kalshi and Polymarket US docs and stamp every recipe with the date we checked.
- Ship a free Safety Pack with every recipe.
Who writes BotCookery?
Recipes are published by the BotCookery Kitchen. We research and draft them with AI tools (we build with the same tools our readers use). Every recipe is checked against the official documentation it links to before it's published, and each page shows the date it was last checked against official docs. When an API or rule changes, we update the recipe and the date. We don't publish anything we haven't checked against a primary source.
Found something out of date? Email hello@botcookery.com and we'll fix it.
What we never do
- Give financial, investment, trading or legal advice, picks, signals or predictions.
- Host, run, operate or manage bots or accounts for anyone.
- Offer copy trading or mirror anyone's positions.
- Republish live exchange data.
- Show anyone how to get around geoblocks, KYC or a venue's terms.
- Ask for or touch your API keys, passwords, private keys or seed phrases. If someone claiming to be us asks, it isn't us.
Disclaimer
Educational content only. Everything on BotCookery is general, impersonal information about building software. None of it is financial, investment, trading, tax or legal advice, and none of it is tailored to you. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell any contract, token or asset.
You can lose money. Event contracts, crypto and automated trading are risky. Bots can malfunction, APIs change, markets gap, and AI-generated code can contain serious bugs and security holes. Past results, demo results and paper results don't predict live results.
You're responsible for your bot. Read and understand any code before you run it. Start in demo or paper mode. Use limits you can afford to lose. Follow each venue's terms, developer agreements and rulebooks, and the laws where you live. Availability of Kalshi, Polymarket US and other venues varies by state and country.
No warranty. Recipes are provided "as is." We try to keep them accurate and dated, but we can't guarantee they're complete, current or error-free. Always check the official documentation.
Not affiliated. BotCookery isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Kalshi, Polymarket, Anthropic, OpenAI, xAI, Cursor or any other company we mention. Sponsored content, when we have it, will always be labeled.
